The volunteer team this year included SFA members, Darlene,
Wendy, Mary & Emanuela. We were also happy to have with us the youthful energy
of Lucas, Hilary and then Alexis who joined us for part of the trip. It
was a great working visit to the projects with a chance for some hands -on work
such as painting the newly renovated dormitory for Mukumu Children's Home and sewing blankets with the
disabled children at St. Ursula Special School. We were delighted to be under
the expert care of our much -loved driver John and to be reunited with old
friends and to meet many new ones. We hope you enjoy the following photos of
some of our favorite moments. Many thanks to all of our supporters for making
these projects possible and thereby bringing new hope to these communities.
While we were over in Kenya we got the exciting news confirmed that SUITCASES
FOR AFRICA IS NOW A FULLY REGISTERED CANADIAN CHARITY ! Thank you for helping us
achieve this with your support and encouragement from the beginning of this
