Christmas Park School Parent Committee will host the 4th annual  Comedy Night on April 30th

at Christmas Park School, 422 Beaconsfield Blvd, Qc. H9W4B7.

Proceeds to benefit Suitcases for Africa.  Tickets cost $15.00

A very big Thank You to all donors, volunteers and shoppers at St Edmunds parish who helped make the recent toy sale in Nov 2009 so successful, raising $1289.17  for Suitcases for Africa!
Another large very successful garage sale was held on Sat May 23 2009 on a warm sunny day on the grounds of Beaurepaire United Church in Beaurepaire Village.

Thanks to all who donated items and to all who volunteered their services for this event!

 

A 3rd annual Comedy Night was held at Christmas Park Elementary School, Beaconsfield on Friday Jan 30th 2009 in support of Suitcases for Africa. Thanks to all who helped make this such a successful evening.

A Suitcases for Africa Fundraiser was held at Cunninghams Pub in Ste Anne de Bellevue on Nov. 16th, 2008.

This event raised funds to ship medical supplies & books to our projects in Kenya. Among those present was Sister Agnes Khati, visiting from Kakamega, Kenya who was very pleased to meet many of our supporters. Sister Agnes administers our feeding program for orphans. Thanks to all who helped make this event such a success.

 

A Joint Tabasamu Education Fund and Suitcases for Africa Fundraiser  Dinner  was held in Old Montreal on Saturday JUNE 14 at L’Orignal 479 Saint-Alexis, Old Montreal. Many thanks to the team below who organised a wonderful evening.

A large, very successful Garage Sale was held at BEAUREPAIRE UNITED CHURCH, Beaurepaire Village on May 24th, 2008

Thanks to all who generously donated items and to all volunteers.

 

Another great Comedy Night was held at Christmas Park School   Beaconsfield Blvd., Beaconsfield on May 30th, 2008. Like last year this was another huge success. Many thanks to all the volunteers who helped set up & organise the evening.

 

Beaconsfield school raises $1,000 for Suitcases for Africa

Children of Christmas Park after-school program at Christmas Park elementary in Beaconsfield raised $1,000 with their presentation of the play Willy Wonka in March. The money is for the school's Suitcases for Africa program.

The third annual FUNDRAISER at CUNNINGHAM'S PUB was held on SUNDAY FEBRUARY 10th 2008. A big thank you to all who attended and helped make this event such a huge success!

A very successful Comedy Night was held at Christmas Park Elementary School on June 1, 2007 in the school gymnasium. A packed house was well entertained by comedian Neil Janna and friends. This event raised funds to buy much needed textbooks for Kenyan school children. A big thanks to the hard working organizers who helped make this show happen.

A Mechouie was held on June 10, 2007 in St-Clet at Cabane MarcBesner. Thanks to Sandra, Liz and the Martini Club for organizing this very successful fundraising event and to all who attended. For photos click here.

Thanks to all who supported the very successful fundraiser party for Suitcases For Africa held on May 19th 2007 at Newtown. We were able to raise funds for wells, food, school and medical supplies by this event. A special thanks to the organizers, Kelly, Jackie and Bronwyn.

SHIPPING of 178 SUITCASES, BOXES, WHEELCHAIRS etc. took place on Friday April 20th 2007!! The children of Christmas Park School joined us for this celebration as we loaded the container in the parking lot of Beaurepaire United Church. The container was sent on its way!

A very successful KENYA NIGHT took place on APRIL 21st  2007 at BEAUREPAIRE UNITED CHURCH.

This was a joint fundraiser with the Montreal Kenyan Society. A great evening of Kenyan food, entertainment, a Kenyan fashion show and a silent auction.
